Introduction
Project management is nothing straightforward but a complex set of practices required in the evaluation. Recent construction projects have become so difficult that it require expert assessment of the different segments of the project management. In contrast, a program manager can be identified as a critical measurement tool for a project to understand its success rate and future outcomes. This report discusses the Wimberley Park regeneration program based on its previous assignment. Wembley Park regeneration program is one of the world’s most significant tree generation projects of the 21st century, aiming to regenerate the Brent region of London (Bisnow.Com, 2022). Initially, the project involved a few modifications and the development of Wembley Stadium. Letter on the project started adding a new version of the project under the main program, like developing 7000 new homes for homeless people, providing 8000 jobs, creating in new urban cities, deciding on the Wembley Stadium, and so on. This report will discuss whether the project can address its strategic vision behind the program or not with the help of the details regarding the project and support from the program blueprint and benefits mapping of the same. The problem blueprint and benefits mapping would manifest the project’s future deliverables and the benefits that can help the project owners and investors perceive the concept of its effectiveness and relevance in the future (Kim and Berry, 2017). Therefore, based on the evaluation, lessons were learned from the project variable and project management aspects like risk, quality, allocation, benefits, etc. Hence, the parts are being delivered in the following report with relevant supporting evidence.
Discussion
To discuss the Wembley Park Regeneration programme’s ability to attain the strategic vision behind the program, it is essential to look back from where it started. When the Council of Brent 2001 launched a 20-year regeneration strategy, it involved an ambitious vision to increase and enhance the quality of life of Brent and the community members (Imran, 2018). The Wembley Stadium had become the center of the iconic landmark in the neighborhood. The renewable program in the Borough neighborhood improved the social and economic conditions and the region’s physical environment. The strategic vision of Wembley Park involves the blend of Brent and corporate ambition, which involves Borough Local’s development framework and particularly the core strategy focusing on five growth areas. The strategic vision also incorporated the plan for developing 22000 new homes (Kmietowicz, 2021).
The Strategic Vision of Wembley Park also involved aiming to develop vibrant places where community and people could live in a safe environment sustained and well-maintained at the same time. Hence, Wembley Park’s three central strategic visions are identified in the following manner.
- To deliver transformational changes in Borough while focusing on the priority areas for investment.
- To increase employment and income levels for Brent’s residents.
- To maximise the investment in brands’ private-public and community sectors to align the regeneration programs’ priority and ambition (Movementstrategies.Com, 2022).
Considering the above strategic vision, it can be stated that the Wembley Park regeneration program has been evident in delivering more Phones in the last 21 years than it was planned before. But in 2017, more than 6044 homes will be available for rent around Wembley Park and the Stadium, where the phase will be e delivered in the next seven years (Ortner and Totschnig, 2019). Apart from this, it is essential to provide the key components that the strategic vision of the Wembley Park program included to evaluate how far the program has been able to address its objective and the central aspect that remained untouched.
- The new National Stadium
- Community focus on grant
- The London Convention Centre
- A cultural Educational Centre
- A mixture of housing types and tennis
- An accessible development
- High-quality commercial and retail facilities.
These aspects within the strategic vision have been attended to since its inception. In 2022, the program will be able to address the strategic idea behind its development when its transformation is witnessed. With 7000 new homes, 2008 additional nurseries, and 8000 new jobs, the project has proved successful since the program was proposed (Patterson, 2022). The program has also involved spaces for creative art and new start-up businesses, which would eventually contribute to the Brent economy.
The Wind Park regeneration program has also included aspects like London designer outlet web 70 shops and 15 restaurants are being opened and functioning. On the other hand, Box Park is another Attraction that will provide the capital 3rd street food and bar Mall space with 25 different food vendors under one roof. Along with this, it’s already been providing the facilities of Wembley Stadium, which the stadium has a 90000 spectator capacity (Projectfireproducts. Co. Uk, 2022). The SS arena and Wembley Park market are the additional prizes for Wembley Park to cover. As the vision of the Wembley Park regeneration program also included the ability of the community members to live an improved and standard lifestyle, it can be stated that the project has been evident in addressing those strategic visions by incorporating the CPVC flow switch testing device for sprinklers. Such new addition to the project development process would increase the greenery by 25%. After completing the regeneration program, the project also claimed that this would be London’s most impressive and highest skyline. Most importantly, the current development within the regeneration program is to launch the creation of a new town revolving around the Wembley Stadium (Prynn, 2022). Therefore, the strategic vision behind the program is secret to be achieved as the strategies and elements involved within the program are being completed one by one. At the same time, new developments are also being adhered to within the programme. Hence, a program blueprint and a benefits map related to the project will be delivered in the following sections to support the discussion.
Programme blueprint
A program blueprint is an effective tool for addressing the program that has been placed within the project management practices. To successfully analyse and achieve the project program, management aspects must be carried out transparently. A blueprint in the context of a project can manifest the organization’s future state and provide an entire overview to the stakeholders, investors, and board members to understand the current scenario of the project (Thevoiceoflondon. Co., Uk, 2022). On the other hand, the blueprint can also manifest the intermediate activities and the short form of the program’s horizon, which effectively allows the measurement and validation of the program and the project process. In the context of the Wembley Park regeneration program, the blueprint below is evident in manifesting the different stages of the program. It intends to exhibit the current strategies for the activities conducted by the Wembley Park regeneration program. Also, it involves an insight into the future achievements for the deliverables that the project will be a hearing in the future course of action.

Programme Benefit Map
Benefit mapping can be defined as a technique used to identify the proposed project’s benefits in its early stage. The benefits map can also highlight the project’s expected benefits and how those benefits can help attain the project’s corporate objectives (Watts, 2022). Moreover, a benefits map can help understand the alignment between the Project and corporate objectives. At the same time, it can also warn the project developers regarding the misalignment and future of the project outcomes. In the context of the Wembley Park generation programme, the following benefit map has manifested the future predictive benefits that the project will be provided to the region. It is observed that there are four main benefits that the Wembley Park origination program can cover, such as upgraded roads, rail and pedestrian routes, Wembley stadium, housing and retail facilities. There are additional benefits that the project can deliver, such as a better transportation system and traffic conditions, which would lead to safety for people and less time consumption (Wembleystadium.Com, 2022). Similarly, other benefits refer to new job employment, economic growth, and increased GDP, social and financial conglomeration, etc

Lessons learned report
Programme & project management:
About delivering the lessons learned from the program and project management of the Wembley Park regeneration program, it can be stated that the program meets continuous monitoring regarding its performance management irrespective of the fact that the current process was quarterly scrutiny through meetings and performance plus system to understand the progress and the gap (Wembleystadium.Com, 2022). But the program management facilities can be conducted by developing a program management office consisting of several approaches. These approaches can help the program associated with the project be smoothly carried out, and the quality will be intact using the program’s governance.
Leadership:
Context of leadership related to a construction project lesson can be gained from the Wembley Park regeneration program in terms of the supervision of the project manager and the owners have manifested while creating a trail of additional programs. The leadership must be strong enough to make decisions considering the economic instability and the market environment (Projectfireproducts. Co. UK, 2022). About the Wembley Park regeneration program, she has delivered her lesson on the fact that the council is required to attain the task at a time while the addition of new and innovative jobs can create a massive amount of confusion and backlog to the project, which eventually leads to project schedule expansion and cost expansion. Irrespective of the fact that different new programs and some programs are added to the main regeneration problem, it can eventually increase the weightage of the project. In other words, the additional programs must be handled efficiently by forming a small team or committee members monitoring the different programs (Ortner and Totschnig, 2019). It is also an essential lesson for the leader of the only partly generation program to understand the massive pressure it would be delivered to the associate stakeholders, including implying investors a contractor supplier, which can significantly create a risk of project failure in the future.
Risk management
In discussing the lesson learnt from the risk management of the Wembley Park regeneration project, it could be stated that the project has significantly identified the potential risk and prepared for the risk mitigation aspects. Irrespective of this fact, there are certain loopholes that the project needs to focus on. The current risk management program shows that the project requires a contingency plan for the societal stoned due to the increasing number of immigrants coming to London (Patterson, 2022). As the project has involved the development of homes for homeless people, we should be modified and evaluated based on the current and future requirements to avoid the risk of an overcrowded population and the lack of proper accommodation. Moreover, the project has also taught that the Wembley regeneration project needs to have a quarterly risk assessment of the entire program to look for some drawbacks regarding the newly developed programs added under the main project and handle them without failure.
Change management
From the lessons collected from the change management practices of the regeneration process project, it can be stated that the project has incorporated several changes within the project development process since its Inception. Previously, the project was only intended to attain a standard of living for the people of Brent by developing an urban city and Stadium along with other aspects required for a better living (Imran, 2018). Changes have been incorporated in due course where Mod programs were added, such as developing 7,000 new houses for homeless people, providing 8000 new jobs, pedestrian and railroads, and developing an intelligent city surrounding Wembley Stadium and so on. These changes have created a significant impact on the project objective program management and project budget as well. The lesson from such a scenario can be extracted by focusing on the change management process. Such a future project needs to implement a proper change management model to understand whether the change will be viable enough to express the required corporate objective (Wembleystadium.Com, 2022). Most importantly, change management tools and approaches should be considered before implementing change directly to the project.
Quality management and governance
To assess the quality management, it can be stated that the Project has delivered the most quality from the beginning of its development. The lesson here can be learned that construction projects like Wembley Park regeneration project need to concentrate on little except the requirement of the community members to enhance the product quality and service quality (Ortner and Totschnig, 2019). On the other hand, quality management can efficiently evaluate the program from start to end and ensure notifications when required to upgrade their existing functionalities.
Resource allocation
Resource allocation has also delivered specific lessons that can help in future projects. For example, knowing the project’s resources or scope is crucial before allocating any resource. On the other hand, identifying the proper resources for the project and being located in a Holistic manner can also deliver a better scope of project success and utilization of resources properly (Prynn, 2022). Moreover, tracking time and ensuring that tasks are not over-allocated could help the project run smoothly and provide the expected outcome.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it can be stated that the report has focused on providing a detailed evaluation of the project management aspects and program management practices related to the Wembley Park generation program. The information aimed to provide a detailed discussion of the strategic vision attained by the Wembley Park project. The problem blueprint and the benefits mapping have been incorporated to support the argument. The program blueprint and the benefits map are also described using a relevant framework. These would help understand how the project has been evident in attaining the strategic vision. The program blueprint and the program and benefits mapping are effective tools for understanding the current status of activities conducted by the project manager regarding the project and what to do more to benefit the project and deliver based on the specific requirements of the project. Moreover, the lessons learned from different aspects of the project management of one Wembley Park regeneration program, like leadership, change management, quality management, risk management, resource allocation and so on. These lessons can help future projects or other projects to consider such an asset should be a priority to be.
